Practicing Copics

Hi There,
I've really been practicing my Copics lately. I really want to get good at it. It's one of my goals I have set for myself. So please give me feedback, that's the only way I am going to get better.
Also please check out Miss Alyce from kit and clowder, she is the absolute best :) She has been my teacher via YouTube and inspiration. You'll be amazed :) hope to be back soon with an actual card or more practice. Have fun and get out your Copics.

I'm still alive

Hi-ya,

Yes I am still alive. I guess the blogging world as been put on hiatus for me, just when I thought I would have more time, God laughed at me lol 

I have been busy doing lots of stuff, but I have been really into my Copic markers lately. I really want to get good at it. All those wonderful artists out there have truly inspired  me to get better and to really just sit and practice alot. 

One of those artists that I drool  and idolize over is the talented Miss Alyce from Kit and Clowder. See her blog address below. She also has some wonderful videos posted on YouTube that are so helpful. Check them out !!!! I think I may be on my way to being half as good, but I am having so much fun seeing my stamp images come alive and seeing my progress. Thank you Alyce, your a great teacher. 

I will hopefully be posting soon and getting involved with some contests again.

Random Acts of Kindness

Hi,

I think it's been about a billion years since I have posted. Ok only 2 months, but I am not doing very good at the blogging. I don't think I can quite call myself a blogger, but I am hoping that is going to change when school starts up again in the fall and I just might have a few more minutes on my hands. Anyways I saw this on good ol' Pinterest and I had to share. This was an amazing idea and it makes me want to go out and do it right now.  Please click on the link below and check out all the Random Acts of Kindness this gal did on her birthday. Here is a quick and easy Mother's Day gift I made for my mom. Just used my butterfly dies and punches, glued them on, stamped a message, and framed. Yep it's that easy :) Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies out there.

Tiddly Inks Challenge-Best Friends Forever

Has is really been this long since I have blogged? lol My goodness it has been a few months. I actually took up sewing a bit, I know I know crazy for me to even think that I could sew, but I am here to say I do know what a bobbin is now lol

Anyways I will try and post some pictures of my quilt soon. So yeah I have 2 hobbies now and I think that is more then my sweet husband wants to hear. He really is a dear to put up with me (wink)

Sweet Stop Sketch #SSS134

Hi,

This card was so much fun. I'm so enjoying Copic markers, they are just a kick to work with. I just love watching the little images come to life, I just get all excited!!! Does anyone else feel that same way with Copics? Yes it does take some practice to use the markers but once you start getting a feel for them, they are just so much fun.

Anyways I guess I should get on with the card here and quit gushing about Copics, he he :) This is a little digi image I got from www.weestamps.com , love love her images, they are beautiful drawings. And I followed the card layout  from www.sweetstopsketches.blogspot.com , so check them out and follow along each week with a fun new layout. I listed my Copic colors below. Hi All,

I finally finished Chantelle, yeah!!! I love this image, she is so stylish and sweet. You can find her as a digital download here at www.makeitcrafty.com.au. I love this website, they are so fun to color.

I am entering Miss Chantelle in the Squirrel and The Fox Challenge called, "Hats or Flowers."   I had alot of fun coloring her and using these bright pinks and bold black/grays. I'm already planning on some other colors to use on this image. Don't you just love it when the creative juices are flowing, something you just need a little boost and it all just comes right out.
